SUPPLIERS AND CONTRACTORS e-GP WORKSHOP FOR LUSAKA PROVINCE

Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) is inviting suppliers and contractors based in Lusaka Province to a practical workshop of the electronic Government Procurement System (e-GP) to be held on from Monday 5th to Friday 9th November 2018. The workshop will be divided into two sessions with the morning session starting at 9:30 hours and ending at 12:30 hours. The afternoon session will start at 14:30 hours and end at 16:30 hours.
The aim of the practical workshop among others is to:
- Train suppliers and contractors on online bid preparation and submission on the e-GP System
- Train suppliers and contractors on how to register online; and
- Train suppliers and contractors on supplier registration renewal, and account errors.
SUPPLIERS of goods, works and services, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME’s) and CONTRACTORS are invited to attend. Interested members are requested to register for the workshop by texting their names, name of the company, the time when they wish to attend the training and the preferred date as well as contact details to 0971967351 or register through the ZPPA Help Desk by calling 0211 – 377415 / 377416. Registration can also be done via email by sending details to firstname.lastname@example.org, or sending details through the ZPPA Official Facebook page message box. ATTENDANCE is FREE and is on first come first serve basis as only 40 suppliers are required per session. The deadline for registration is Friday 2nd November, 2018 at close of business hours. The e-GP System is an electronic method of conducting public procurement and will be used by all government institutions. All suppliers of goods, works and services will be required to use the system in their business transactions with the public sector.
