1. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TRAINING PROVIDERS AS CONSULTANTS IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
The Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) as mandated in Section 6 (2) (a) of the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020 (PPA), regulates public procurement of goods, works and services by procuring entities and ensures and promotes transparency, economy, efficiency, competition and accountability. Among other key functions of the ZPPA is to coordinate and promote capacity building and professional development in the public procurement system.
In view of the above, and in order to further enhance professional development and build capacity for procurement personnel in procuring entities, ZPPA now invites eligible Training providers as entities or private firms to express interest to partner with the Authority and assist with facilitation in various forms of stakeholder engagement programs.
Interested companies must provide the following information to demonstrate that they are qualified:
- Presentation of the Training Institute/Private firm:
- A company profile describing the Training institution/consulting firm;
- Fields of specialisation;
- Organizational structure; and
- Professional accreditation or membership.
- Relevant and traceable experience of delivering training programmes and capacity building with at least five (5) years’ experience or more.
- Eligibility:
- Copy of company registration certificate;
- Registered with Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) either as a firm or individual team members/staff; and
- Key staff (minimum 3).
- Proof of appropriate skills among staff
- The training institute/firm should have adequate staff with a minimum of three (3) with relevant qualification in commercial professions such as Economics, Purchasing and Supply, Commerce or any other relevant qualification
- Profiles or curriculum vitae for staff with minimum experience of five (5) years or more in purchasing and supply chain management function;
- Registered with appropriate professional bodies such as Zambia Institute of Purchasing & Supply, Law Association of Zambia and Engineering Institute of Zambia; and
- Traceable references and contact details.
- Any other information that certifies qualification to undertake such training programmes.
The Training providers/firms will be shortlisted on the basis of the Expressions of Interest (EOI) submitted. Only shortlisted companies/firms will be contacted and invited to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with ZPPA.
Training Institutions who are already in an MoU with ZPPA need not apply.

The EOI must be emailed to procurement@zppa.org.zm not later than 14th April 2023 at 17:00 hours Local Time. The EOI received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted

2. TENDER FOR TYPE SETTING, PRINTING, BINDING AND PUBLICATION OF THE REVISED EDITION OF THE LAWS OF ZAMBIA
Invitation for Bids (IFB) - OIB: No. MOJ/PSU/ICB/01//09/22
1.The Ministry of Justice has received financing from the Government of the Republic of Zambia toward the cost of this Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Typesetting, Printing, Binding and Publication of the revised edition of the Laws of Zambia.
2.The Ministry of Justice now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Typesetting, Printing, Binding and Publication of the revised edition of the Laws of Zambia.
3.Bidding will be conducted through the Open International Bidding (OIB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Solicitation Document.
4.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Justice, Attention: Head- Procurement and Supplies Unit, Independence Avenue, First Floor, P.O. Box 50106, Lusaka. Email address-Diana.Musa@moj.gov.zm. The physical sample can be inspected at the Ministry of Justice, Independence Avenue, First Floor, Procurement and Supplies Unit from Monday to Friday from 08 hours to 17 hours Zambian time.
5.A complete set of the Solicitation Document in English may be downloaded by interested bidders online via e-GP or on the ZPPA website. To participate in this tender, you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of ZMW1,000.00 or in an equivalent convertible currency. The method of payment will be online via the e-GP portal.
6.Bids must be submitted electronically via the Electronic Government Procurement System-EGP on or before 23rd November, 2022 at 10:00 hours Zambian time. Electronic bidding is mandatory. Bids will be opened via the EGP System. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of the Tender sum or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
